Kathleen is a member of the Interior Refiners Network; the largest association of one-day interior decorators. She trained personally with Lauri Ward, well-known Manhattan designer of Use What You Have Decorating, as seen on Oprah and featured in The New York Times. Ms. Ward is the author of "Use What You Have Decorating." and "Trade Secrets from Use What You Have Decorating."

Kathleen was born and raised in Hungary, has traveled extensively and lived all over the world. She derives many of her stylistic inspirations from Europe, and her decorating expertise reflects that diversity and decorating flair.

Kathleen has worked in interior decorating, home decorating, one day redecorating of homes and businesses, resale-ready^TM redecorating of homes for sale, Christmas and Holiday decorating, and special events decorating for over 10 years, primarily in Fairfield County Connecticut and New York, and also in Florida.

She created and manages the Christmas Decorating department at Seasons Too in Darien, Connecticut, and developed her own Interior Decorating business, "Decorating by Kathleen", for private and corporate clients. "I love to be able to redesign a home, to turn a home into something magical in just a few hours; it's an instant gratification for my clients, and also for me."

Whether it's decorating or redecorating an apartment, business or a house in Ft. Lauderdale or Miami, creating Holiday magic in Greenwich, decorating for Christmas, Holidays and special events decorating for The Piarist Ball in Manhattan, or beautifying a house in New Canaan to maximize its resale value, Kathleen's ability to work easily and efficiently with all types of clients is what makes them feel she's special.
